Working with survivors of rape, sexual violence, abuse and/or harassment

Jocelyn has been specialising in sexual violence and abuse since 2002 and has held the post of CEO at West Mercia Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Centre (WMRSASC) since 2004. Jocelyn is a qualified Counsellor (MSc) and experienced Consultative Supervisor (PG Diploma) having vast experience of direct one to one support of survivors, provision of case and clinical supervision for staff and other professionals (including Social Workers, Police and Law consultants).

Jocelyn designs and delivers a range of training & continuous professional development courses focusing predominantly on the specialist sexual violence sector and is an associate lecturer at the University of Worcester. She has spoken at both national and international conferences, has contributed to the development of both regional and national guidance for education, safeguarding and supporting survivors.

Most recently she has been developing a preventative sexual violence service (Purple Leaf) whichassesses and provides interventions with children & young people who are displaying problematic/harmful sexualised behaviours.
