New Dawn Counselling Service hosts a number of CPD events throughout the year as a way to support our counsellors and raise funds to enable us to continue offering affordable counselling.
All of the CPD is hosted in Weston-super-Mare. Prices for the one-day workshops are £55 or £35 for students.
Our 2018 one-day CPD consists of:
'Adult Attachment Behaviour' presented by Hazel Barton on Wednesday 7th February
'Disability and Self-Identity' presented by Gemma Mason on Friday 23rd Match
'Challenging addiction whilst support the client' presented by Trudy Parsons on Saturday 28th April
'Working with Self-Injury' presented by Mel Phelps on Saturday 26th May
'The Roles Played in Families' presented by Hazel Barton on Saturday 15th September.
We also have a two-day workshop:
'Beyond Empathy: a therapy in relationship. The Healing of the traumatised inner child. Presented by Peter Flowerdew on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July. This workshop is priced at £130 with an early bird price of £105 if you book before 30th March.
