As of the 15th of May 2023, we have officially changed our name to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Our new and improved website is coming soon!

Bereavement and emotional discharge techniques to help couples cope, Using immediacy effectively and with respect to the emotions in the room. Using this valuable tool of immediacy in a sympathetic and therapeutic bonding way.

Aims and objectives

To understand:

How the unique aspects of loss is connected to couple work.

To be able to hold the person experiencing loss whilst also engaging their partner

To build coping strategies and bonding techniques between the couple.

Tools to enable the isolation and confusion of loss to be worked with.

At the end of this day you will be much more informed about loss and the Couple dynamic, helping you to bridge and process the grief feelings between the Couple in a positive and re-enforcing bonding way. Also to understand and work with engaging the Couple to support each other through the process.
