Feedback from the 2016 member’s survey

You asked that we improve the Society website (notably the search function and member profile pages) and we launched the new website in August.

You asked for CPD courses in more areas of the UK, with new topics We can confirm that this is something we have in place for 2017.

You want increased recognition for NCS members We have been working on this throughout 2016, through our attendance at key meetings and coalitions throughout the UK; through the creation of new brochures, leaflets, posters, and pens; through our new video adverts that are now available on YouTube, as well as a report by ITN Productions about the need for the NHS to use Accredited Registers.

You asked us to attend more Government/Political and NHS events We did this throughout 2016, and have more events planned for 2017. We also plan to attend more University events and job fairs during the coming year.

You suggested access to online Members forums to be made available These have now been launched.

You suggested information or guidance leaflets to be made available online

This is something we are planning at the moment and hope to make available next year.

You asked for a job vacancies section on the website, We are currently exploring this and in the meantime will continue to send information about vacancies to members through the newsletter or separate direct email.
