When Someone you Love is Murdered: A Qualitative study on the experience of family members bereaved by homicide

A research study for my MA in Trauma Studies, approved and supervised by the University of Nottingham, this study aims to highlight the unique trauma of homicide and adversity families face in the aftermath of events following the murder of a loved one.

Participants are invited to take part in a recorded interview during which they shall be supported to reflect on and tell their story. Participation is a voluntary contribution to the interviewer's research material and participants may withdraw at any time. Interviews shall take place at your convenience. Confidentiality shall be upheld throughout and every care will be taken to ensure a caring, professional and safe process.

If you would like to support this research and share your experience, or would like more information on this research project, please contact me at: dgbateman@hotmail.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.
