We have officially changed our name to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society!

Information for members

As of the 15th of May 2023, we have officially changed our name to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Our new and improved website is coming soon!

I am conducting a study on attitudes towards people with mental illness and the things that predict those attitudes. In particular, I am interested in comparing attitudes of mental health professionals with those of the general population. I have received ethics approval for human research under Australian National University ethics protocol 2015/124.

The study may be completed online, by clicking the link below, and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Link below.

It is anticipated that the findings of this study will improve our understanding of attitudes towards people with mental illness and the things that lead to them, allowing greater capacity to tackle prejudice.

Kind Regards,

Beth
