As of the 15th of May 2023, we have officially changed our name to the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).

Our new and improved website is coming soon!

The Law Society are looking for a speaker for their annual elderly client care conference on 20th October 2017, in London.

The session they are looking to fill would be regarding ‘mental health and wellbeing’ with a focus on dealing with stress at work, handling the emotional aspects of the job and how to best advise clients about their issues. The audience will be those who work with the elderly do they are looking for all aspects of the talk to be aimed at those working with the elderly.

On the key points, the topics are broken down to three informative parts:

1- They are looking for tips for the solicitor to learn how to deal with stress

2- What the solicitor can do to deal with the emotional side of the job for eg the solicitor may have built up a good relationship with the client and so how would they deal with their client becoming unwell or even passing and any tips and processes they could exercise to deal with their wellbeing and that side of things.

3- How to best advise clients about any issues they may have surrounding mental health and wellbeing
