I am a fully qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist, and also a qualified Mental Health Nurse. Although I no longer practise as a nurse, my 20 years of experience has been invaluable in my counselling career.

Choosing the right counsellor can be very daunting, it is very difficult to choose when you don't know what to expect or how it works. You will need to feel that you are being listened to, you need to feel comfortable so that you can share your thoughts without feeling judged or invalidated in any way. Change can be very challenging but we will work together in a safe non-judgemental and respectful manner to gently bring about the changes or improvements you wish to achieve. You are unique and individual and I will treat you with honesty, integrity and holistically at all times and be guided by your needs which are my priority.

Working with the right counsellor can enable you to be the best that you can be, when we work effectively together we can achieve a new balance in your life between emotional, psychological and physical health, and spirituality, which enables the ability to make right choices to bring a emotionally and physically healthy and fulfilling life.

My approach to counselling is using a Holistic approach, which covers all the different aspects of your personality and life. As we explore all these different aspects you will become aware of the inner connection between them all and how they effect behaviours, feelings and emotions. This new understanding can enable you to facilitate positive changes in any of these aspects, I will then help you to integrate them to bring about the more healthy and fulfilling life that you wish for.

I am work with individuals, couples, families, children and young people. I have a specialist interest and extensive experience of working with people on the autistic spectrum, also with trauma and pain. I offer short term and long term treatments.
