I have been working as a counsellor in the evenings alongside my day job as a Primary School Teacher. I have worked with a number of clients who have had a variety of issues. This has included those suffering from anxiety and depression, self harm, grief, relationship issues between siblings, parents and partners. My experience has enabled me to work with people from all different backgrounds - those who are unemployed and are struggling to feed themselves and their families, to those who have a very affluent lifestyle which is supported by family members. As someone who has been at both ends of the spectrum, I feel I have empathy with the issues which can occur in both situations.
