I have worked as a counsellor and a mental health nurse in both the NHS and the private sector for many years, having qualified as a counsellor in 1999 and as a mental health nurse in 1986. I have undertaken further specialised training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and am currently completing additional training in couple counselling with Relate.I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society and have an enhanced DBS check.
