I am trained as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, Jungian SandPlay Therapist. Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner and Hypnotherapist.
I have provided consultation, training and advice to relevant professionals regarding early childhood trauma and attachment difficulties that impact upon current emotional and relationship functioning of children and adults.
I work integratively using a range of modalities from person-centred through to Junigan, Theraplay and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapeutic Principles.
Depending upon the assessed need, I offer:-
Direct therapeutic intervention with child or adult.
Work alongside child and their key attachment figure.
Work indirectly through co-working with individuals important to the young person.
This is achieved through individual psychotherapeutic sessions to discover and grow.
Hypnotherapy sessions can offer an effective way of working with the subconscious mind in gaining control over undesired behaviours or to help cope better with anxiety or pain. Emotional Freedom Techique works by releasing blockages within the energy system which are the source of emotional intensity and discomfort. Sand Tray sessions can uncover, support and experience growth and healing
The main goal is to:-
Promote psychological wellbeing and adjustment,
Maximize social and educational engagement, and
Improve overall well-being in the child/adolescent/family dynamics
