I currently have my own Private Practice and I have worked as a counsellor for an Addiction Service. I work with individuals who are suffering from anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and CPTSD. I use an anxiety treatment programme along with EMDR and integrative therapy. I am experienced in working with a wide range of issues, such as drug and alcohol addictions, mental health conditions, trauma, bereavement, relationship and attachment issues, and many more.
I modify and personalise my therapy to suit each individual I work with. My approach is to provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental place, where they can feel listened to and supported to deal with the challenges they are faced with in life. This therapeutic environment and relationship will help to prepare clients to have a better understanding of where they are at in their lives and make the changes they feel are needed to progress and move forward.
I also work with clients on Intergenerational Trauma which involves identifying the effects of trauma that is essentially passed down between generations. Dreamwork is another area that I work in, dreams can provide a genuine and powerful energy that can lead to immense healing and processing within our own internal landscape.
