EMAIL ME
Much mind-searching resulted in my decision to radically change my choice of profession but I finally decided to take the leap and qualified as a counsellor. I also work with local charity's voluntary to support clients within those charity's.
Looking back I have no regrets and look forward with excitement and anticipation as my career progresses.
I am an integrative counsellor drawing on many influences to enable me to employ a variety of methods to aid clients, allowing for flexible sessions that fit the client rather than trying to make the client fit the theory.
Helping client's believe in their ability to make changes themselves with some guidance means the changes are more likely to be permanent.
I have worked with adult clients or young adults with a wide range of issues ranging from trauma, depression and anxiety, as well as those who wish to make changes in their lives but currently lack the courage to do so.
Initial sessions are complimentary to gather information and to see if we are able to work together and start the exploration of the issues to be worked upon. All sessions are non-judgemental and fully confidential. I can work on the phone, face to face or on the Zoom platform, current situation for face to face is covid regulation to be discussed.
