In our society, many of us are aware of the benefits of keeping our bodies fit and healthy. We might run, swim or cycle, or join a class at the gym but do we give the same consideration to our minds? Self-awareness is the key to understanding ourselves better and reclaiming a sense of direction and purpose so we can take charge of our lives. Spending time talking through problems with a person we can trust can help us to realise our full potential.

For all of us, life can be tough at times and having a neutral, non-judgemental ear, removed from the attachments of our family and friends can be a liberating experience. As an integrative counsellor I am interested in helping you to get the most from yourself and can draw on a range of skills that may be helpful. I work both short-term, on specific issues, and longer term on major life issues, including working with those affected by Dementia and Autistic Spectrum Disorder, for example.
