Hi, I'm a qualified NCS Professional Accredited Counsellor (PROF. DIP PSY C.), IPTuk Accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapist and life & career coach. My experience has been gained from working for NHS Talking Therapies providing Counselling for Depression and Interpersonal Psychotherapy for adults and young people (aged 16-24), in counselling roles for youth organisations and schools with children (aged 6-16) and young people (aged 16-24) as well as family therapy (supporting parent(s) and child). I've also worked as a career / job coach helping people work out the career path they want to be on and to achieve the employment they want.
I use a blend of techniques to suit your individual needs and the issues you wish to address. If appropriate this may include elements of Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) if a more guided approach is preferred.
I work with clients short-term (c. 6-8 sessions focusing on issues you are experiencing in your day-to-day life) and on a long-term basis reviewing past significant events and relationships, helping you understand both yourself and how your past may affect things you do today and helping you find a way forward.
I offer a complimentary 30-min video call consultation so we can both be certain we could work together effectively.
Friday morning and Saturday morning appointments via telephone or video call. Face-to-face appointments can be arranged, dependant on room availability.
