“Life isn’t about waiting for the storms to pass; It’s about learning how to dance in the rain.”
Vivian Greene

At Your Umbrella Counselling we have three main objectives:

Self-Knowledge
Self-Acceptance
Self-Growth

As integrative counsellors with person-centred cores, we allow space for our clients to explore and express themselves in the time they need. We are able to draw upon many different types of therapeutic approaches in order to tailor an approach that best suits each of our clients. We work with a broad range of issues including, but not limited to: goal setting, anxiety and fear, depression, change, relationships, abuse, confidence, and self-esteem. There are no time restraints for the therapeutic journey. For some clients, it’s a matter of a few sessions … for others, it’s a matter of years. Some clients will dip in-and-out depending on what’s going on in their lives. This is an individual process. The therapeutic relationship is a special one, no matter how long or how short.
