I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practitioner based in Liverpool. I am experienced in treating issues such as anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, low self-worth and assertiveness. I'm easy-going, approachable and down to earth.
I've not always been a CBT therapist. I trained as an artist (and still paint), and have worked in marketing and social media comms for many years. I have trained as a counsellor over the last few years both for my own personal growth and as a firm believer in the power of the individual to take control of and make positive changes in their life.
CBT, and in particular the type I practice (Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy) is goal-focused and concerned with the here and now: where are you, what's troubling you and where would you like to be?
Although my main practice is CBT, I have been trained in a variety of interventions, allowing me to deliver integrative sessions to ensure you receive the most effective therapy possible.
