Welcome and thank you for looking at my page.
A qualified integrative counsellor, I work intuitively with my clients to support and improve their mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. I offer a warm, open and accepting space where there is no place for judgement. I understand what it takes to really feel and face challenges and make changes to experience a better future. Using empathy and attentiveness, together we can explore your past or present trials and work at your pace to see a way forward that meets your needs. Yes, counselling can support you through difficult times, it can also enhance your quality of life.
I incorporate mindfulness techniques into my sessions, when appropriate, and also work with clients to explore and deepen their trust in their own inner self. This quote from Rumi is beautifully simple and speaks of connection with that inner self.
“There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.”
I have worked with clients experiencing a wide range of issues: depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, relationship breakdown, affairs and betrayals, bereavement, anger, loneliness, stress, childhood trauma and abuse as well as finding purpose and passion in life.
My degree focused on world religions, arising from my interest in exploring what really matters and connects us deep down. I have continued this spiritual journey since finishing my studies. Using transpersonal therapy I work with those who may be struggling to find purpose in life. I walk alongside my clients to facilitate this exploration and unfolding.
Covid 19 update: Zoom or telephone sessions available:
I am not currently offering face to face counselling sessions but am continuing to provide individuals with support via telephone or Zoom. I have worked successfully online and by telephone since April 2020.
In other times I work from my therapy room in Teignmouth.
