Welcome, I’m Lucie, thank you for visiting my page. You may be seeking counselling for lots of different reasons, feeling anxious, have low mood, be struggling with loss and grief, suffering from stress, have lost touch with your sense of self, or you might just feel that something is off balance and want to explore those feelings. Maybe life hasn’t turned out how you imagined, and you want support to reflect on your past and look forward to your future with new hope. You don’t need to be at breaking point before reaching out for help. Making that first step to ask for support can feel overwhelming and I have so much respect and admiration when that contact is made, you are not alone.

I am here to help you, give you the space to be heard and the chance to flourish. Working together at a pace you feel comfortable with, we can establish a relationship that helps you feel safe, share what is troubling you and increase your trust in yourself and your inner strength. I will walk alongside you during this exploration and unfolding. I am here to help you find your way home to yourself.

“There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.” Rumi

I support clients through depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, relationship breakdown, affairs and betrayals, bereavement, anger, loneliness, stress, childhood trauma and abuse as well as finding purpose and passion in life.

It was my own experience of the transformational effect of counselling that led me to train as a counsellor. Looking back I realise how important it was for me to be able to speak to someone in confidence who accepted me and my story without judgement. I was given the space to just be me, to share my fears, explore my expectations of myself and to reach a place of acceptance.

I’ve always been interested in exploring what connects us all and finding that inner sense of self. I can help you explore what connects you to yourself, other people, the world around you – and even beyond. I continue to actively pursue this inner journey myself.

I enjoy being in nature, it energises and grounds me and I feel a deep sense of peace when I notice the details of the world. I practice meditation and mindfulness in my daily life and find it really beneficial. Mindfulness techniques also help slow down our speeding thoughts, notice where we are holding tension and emotions in our bodies and increase our awareness of our felt experience.

I understand the importance of feeling comfortable and at ease with your therapist. I am human too! I will offer you empathy, I won’t judge you and will always be real with you. I will not tell you what to do but together we can work to build your trust in your inner strength and knowledge.

“Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” - Brené Brown

If you’re interested, please get in touch. I offer a free intro chat of up to 20mins for us to explore how working together might feel.
