During the COVID-19 lockdown, I’m offering key workers a 50% discount for online or telephone counselling. I’ve been a nurse, so I understand how hard it can be at the best of times. After an initial discussion of 30 minutes (free of charge), you’ll pay £20 per appointment.
You can book an initial consultation directly into my calendar using this link: https://calendly.com/-chcp/initial-consultation
Everyone deserves good health in all aspects of their physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual lives. That’s why the work we do together will be holistic and use an integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy. That means that I’ll draw on a range of skills and theories so that our work together is based on what you need.
We’ll begin by making sure you feel supported and secure when we’re working together. Once that’s in place, we can start to explore the reasons why you’re looking for help. My role is to listen to anything you want to tell me and receive your words with acceptance, care and respect. There’ll be no judgment from me and I won’t tell you what to do because you’re the best person to decide that. What we can do is help you explore your choices.
You’ll be in charge at every stage of our work together, even if that means occasionally asking me for some guidance and leadership, and I hope that when the time comes for us to finish working together it’ll be because you’re feeling confident to face the world, with a clear picture of who you are and what you need.
I’m able to work with people who are living with long term health conditions, terminal illness as well as a range of psychological difficulties and mental health problems.
