The issues that counsellors face are often complex and deeply personal. My experience of over 10 years in private practice and a third sector organisation has shown me the importance of each person deciding on their own needs and finding their own way through the issues they bring.
My training orientates me towards focusing on understanding whatever is shared, and in doing so I find that clients gain greater understanding for themselves, and the guidance they need to move forwards. For more information on my approach to counselling, visit my website at chester-counselling.co.uk.
My own experience of counselling has shown me the importance of being approachable. Even if it is deciding if counselling is for you, why not contact me and see if you feel I can be of service.
