Does it sometimes feel that life is overwhelming, that you just feel like things are a struggle and you just want a safe place to talk, be heard and have your feelings and thoughts validated? Are your thoughts taking over and making general day to day tasks and relationships a challenge? Sometimes, we have friends and family who we can talk with , but we worry we are burdening them with our issues. I can offer you a safe environment to talk and express yourself, without feeling judged. Therapy requires the relationship between two people, to feel safe, non-judgmental and trusting. I will walk with you on your therapeutic journey and together, we will work through what you bring to the therapeutic alliance,

I come from a social work background, working with children, families and foster carers for over 20 years. I am also a foster carer, bringing a wealth of skills and experiences from these two backgrounds which is something which blends well with my Psychotherapy. I offer a Pluralistic approach which, in simple terms allows client and therapist to be fully involved in the therapy by way of treatment planning, deciding on counselling modalities , reviewing therapeutic progress and amending to suit the needs of the client at every step of their journey.

Please contact me to discuss how we can work together.
