I am a trauma-informed and IFS-informed practitioner passionate about using neuroscience to support healing in the aftermath of trauma. My therapeutic work is grounded in Contemporary Psychotherapy which is an integrative solution focussed model that combines and utilises the commonalities of the main contrasting and effective models of psychotherapy; from modern modalities of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) Humanistic and Existential theories and is outcome-oriented, meaning we agree on what we are working towards as an outcome of therapy.
Through continued professional development courses, I have become accustomed to combining therapeutic methods, Body Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems and Mindfulness to facilitate a reconnection with the body and self. I am committed to delivering such interventions in a compassionate, collaborative, and inclusive way.
I graduated with my Diploma from BeeLeaf Institute in Contemporary Psychotherapy. I am a Registered Member of BACP, an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society and a Full member of the Community for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and I abide by their code of ethics.
