CYPT

I am a fully qualified and accredited therapist. I have trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), specifically in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT) and also trained in Humanistic Counselling and Hypnotherapy.

I offer a flexible approach in adapting to a client’s own needs and goals for therapy, seeing each client as unique. I use a combined approach for therapy that brings together different elements of counselling therapies, rather than a single approach being used in all situations.

I can help clients to explore their past to understand meaningful or suppressed memories, rules, events, and feelings that went along with them, using different interventions (Inner-child, Parts work, Attachment Theory and Transactional Analysis). I can help clients that would like to work on their thoughts, feelings and behaviours using CBT/REBT and an integration of different approaches (ACT, CF, Schema, Paradoxical Approaches).

I have experience working with neurodiverse clients and those suffering from trauma, grief, relationship issues, work related issues, communication, anger, guilt, shame, low mood, anxiety.

Next step
In order for any therapy to work it helps if the client and therapist can work together. I offer an initial consultation free of charge to help understand and explore your needs and to see if there is a good fit. This is the first step to taking your journey forward.
