Lyn is a a fully qualified and full-time experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist who works with her deep professional and personal experiences to help get to the root of client’s problems. Lyn works with adults, and children & adolescents. Lyn also offers clinical supervision.
Lyn can give you professional support and assist you in gaining insight and understanding about yourself, your relationships, and your life events. Lyn will provide you with the opportunity for you to talk about your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential environment. Lyn’s aim will be to build a trusting and honest relationship so you can work through the complex demands of life that you face, exploring and constructively working with issues, problems and underlying patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviour in a fluid, empathic and non-judgemental way.

Experience:
Prior to Lyn’s professional training Lyn had a wealth of experience working within the Human Resources and Employment Law business arena and she draws upon this in her work with workplace counselling. Lyn’s core training is Integrative which is informed by Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and EMDR. Lyn can help you decide the most appropriate approach for your therapeutic work or this can be left to Lyn to decide based on what you hope to achieve.
Lyn has a wealth of experience providing therapy and has helped both adults, children and adolescent and families address a wide range of issues including: abuse, anger, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship problems, beaviour problems, bereavement, child related issues, low self-confidence and low self-esteem, Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, self-harm, separation and divorce, separation anxiety, stress, suicidal thoughts and work related stress.
