Being Well Together/Think Talk TogetherKey Worker CounsellingMates in Mind

I am an accredited and experienced integrative counsellor and counselling supervisor with good knowledge of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Humanistic theory and Psychodynamic theory.

Trained in both long term and short-term therapeutic settings, as well as using online therapies or resources, telephone counselling and using services such as Skype or Zoom.

I possess experience working within the NHS IAPT sector , including working with long- term health conditions, working within the crisis intervention sector, as well as working alongside specialist services including the armed forces and ex-offender services.

I have been working in the industry since 2007 and have an extensive history of working with a large diversity of clients including children, adolescents and adults. I am a experienced CAMHS therapist , as well as working with adults within both the private and public sector.

I have experience working with key workers and frontline staff throughout the Covid19 pandemic, as well as working with communities effected by distressing and traumatic events.

Through my career I have set up multiple charity based support groups and services, including services for refugees , personality disorders, and groups for those hearing voices. I have appeared in several media campaigns regarding mental health and have held radio and TV interviews with news channels.

I am fully accredited by both the National Counselling Society ( NCS ) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) . I am fully insured and have completed several extra training courses on data security and management in line with GDPR.

I am passionate about supporting people through their issues and appreciate how difficult it can be to open up to others about how you are truly feeling. Please do feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or queries.
