As a counsellor for 15 years, I have worked alongside individuals and families affected by cancer. I have been in the privileged position of working with terminally ill people and have learnt so much from their wisdom. I have witnessed life changing experiences and helped people grow to their full potential. I have also worked with people affected by rape and sexual abuse. My counselling training was based at Southampton University, where, I counselled staff and students to gain my 100 hours face to face to become qualified.
My experience is varied and I now work privately.
I present to local companies and council, my research findings on Positive Psychology and the benefits of Therapy.

I have recently presented at:
John Lewis
Champneys
Test Valley Council
Yoga Retreats
BBC Radio
Solent Radio
Woman Institute

I am a professionally trained counsellor who abides by the Counselling Society's Code of Ethics and I work under clinical supervision. Counselling is based on listening, not advice giving within a caring, non- judgemental relationship.
It can enable personal growth and help with decision making. I am able to provide a confidential caring environment
to explore difficult issues.

As a exercise to music professional and beautician, I believe in an holistic approach working with mind, body and soul, celebrating the beauty inside and out.

I look forward to working alongside you. Warm wishes
Dottie
