I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, experienced in working with individuals and couples, adults, young people and children.

I view each person as an individual, with unique experiences and individual needs, and therefore understand that what works for one person may not necessarily work for another. With this knowledge in mind, I choose to work using an integrative counselling style, combining a range therapeutic approaches and techniques with my own skills and experience, to tailor the therapy to you as an individual.

I work with the whole person, not just the issues, in a non-judgemental way to give each client the respect and space you need to help you improve your life. My therapeutic support over the years has helped many individuals, couples and families to overcome issues that had been holding them back, by helping them to make positive changes in their daily lives. These positive changes then enabled my clients to become more settled and productive in life, in school, at work, at home and in their general social interactions, and gave them the necessary tools to use in the future.

  • Qualifications & Experience
    - MA in Child, Adolescent & Family Therapy

    - Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling.

Over the years I have worked in a range of settings and organisations, including Employee Assistance Programs, parent support charities, special educational needs, adoption, mainstream primary and secondary schools, the local authority, addictions services, the NHS, in family homes and in private practice.

I have up-to-date DBS clearance which confirms my eligibility to work safely with young people and vulnerable adults.
