I work with adults and primary-aged children, couples, family groups and individuals, helping you to explore your troubling issues, and discover exactly what you need to do to begin to overcome them and find a happier way of being.

I am trained and experienced in a number of therapeutic approaches, which I tailor to meet the needs of each individual client. My approach is person-centred perspective, meaning I work with you, the whole person, not just your presenting issues, in a respectful, non-judgemental way.

My work with you may involve IFS Parts theory, attachment theory, inner child work and Transactional Analysis, to help you to gain deeper understanding.
Tools I use might also include: guided visualisation, breathing and relaxation exercises, Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT), Sandtray or therapeutic art exercises, depending on your need and preference.

Relationship (romantic, friendship, work or family) therapy and coaching is also available for individuals, and new and established couples.

I hold advanced qualifications in Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counselling, and a Masters degree in Child, Adolescent & Family Therapy. I have also had in-depth training in EFT Tapping, sandtray therapy, Internal Family Systems therapy, CBT, and hold a postgraduate diploma in Integrative supervision of individuals and groups.

I am committed to on-going professional development, which I maintain with regular CPD course attendance, to refresh and further my skills. I also attend regular clinical supervision, and have personal therapy to maintain my own well-being.

Throughout my years as a psychotherapist/ counsellor, I have supported many individuals, couples and families to deal with the problems in their lives, and find workable solutions and positive outcomes.
