I'm an Accredited Counsellor with the National Counselling Society with fifteen years' experience in the therapeutic world. I'm in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, specialising in anxiety, depression, relationships and mindfulness with a spiritual slant. Together we can work through difficulties you may be experiencing to help you towards a happier lifestyle.
I specialise in anxiety, stress and relationship issues.
1 in 6 adults have experienced some form of anxiety / depression which means that there is a real need to help people in these areas. Anxiety is real and yet also entirely normal as a coping strategy for survival; but can at times get out of hand, which is where a professional experienced in helping people with anxiety can help.
When it comes to relationships, these can impact us greatly so if you are newly separated or divorced, you may wonder if you’ll ever find love again; or indeed whether you’ll feel “normal” again. I can provide a safe space to process your feelings going forwards.
Perhaps you find yourself self-sabotaging or procrastinating.
Perhaps you continually find yourself doing EXACTLY what you don’t want to do.
I have a spiritual slant to my work but the most important thing is acknowledgement of YOU and where YOU are, and HOW you really want to feel.
Contact me for a free no-obligation telephone chat – either by calling, texting or emailing me. I will endeavour to get back to you during working hours.
My hours of work are Monday - Friday 10am - 11am, 5.30pm - 8pm.
My track record has illustrated how effectively I work with people who reflect that they learned a great deal through working with me, reaching a greater sense of peace of mind and knowledge about themselves and as a result, feeling clearer about their lives.
I have also trained in BWRT® which stands for ‘BrainWorking Recursive Therapy®’, a modern model of psychology and psychotherapy created by UK professional therapist, Terence Watts, MCGI. It uses a logical, practical and down-to-earth working method in which it’s not necessary for you to talk about anything you would rather not discuss – the practitioner only needs to know how you feel and how you would prefer to feel instead. BWRT® is unlike any other therapy you might have heard of or read about, using the latest discoveries in neuroscience coupled with your own unique brain processes to help you get better. Only Certified Practitioners have been trained to deliver BWRT® and all have to adhere to a strict ethical code. Find out more at http://www.bwrt.org.
Other tools I can use are mindful relaxation using hypnotherapy, also EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) which involves tapping on meridian points in the upper body to help alleviate a difficult feeling.
