My ongoing professional development, work and life experiences lead me to believe that therapy can provide a wonderful opportunity to reassess and make powerful changes to improve lives.
In addition to my private practice I have also been privileged to be a listening volunteer for the charities Samaritans, Eating Disorders Support and Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse and Rape Crisis Centre.
I trained as a psychotherapist and clinical hypnotherapist following an integrated approach which allowed me to study and practice various theoretical models including; Psychodynamic, CBT and Client Centred. More recently I have trained as a T.R.E. Practitioner with TRE UK.
Advanced Diploma in Counselling & Psychotherapy
TRE Practitioners Diploma
Diploma in Hypnotherapy
In addition I have attended training workshops on:
Understanding the complexities of sexual abuse
Discovering and changing limiting beliefs
Understanding and stopping addictive behaviour
Anxiety
Self Harm prevention
Suicide prevention
Mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy
