My specialism is Child, Adolescent & Family therapy, although I do also support individuals and couples on various issues.
Some of the issues I can assist with are - Low self-confidence, Anxiety, Depression, Panic disorder, Phobias, Low self-esteem, School/work related stress, Emotional abuse, Anger management, Relationship issues.
I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist. What this means is that I draw on a wide range of strategies, techniques and theories and that I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to the therapy and should be based on non-judgement, trust and respect. As an overview to my approach I also recognise the interconnected nature of mind and body. I work to the code of ethics as set out by the National Counselling Society (NCS).
As a fully qualified Psychotherapist I have received advanced training in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, Mental Health & Psychiatry, Special Educational Needs (SEN), undergraduate training in Educational Psychology, Behavioural Neuroscience, Management & Leadership and Mental Health Sciences, as well as postgraduate training in Counselling Psychology and Child Psychology.
I currently work with an inner london based faith school and an American university, where I support students and faculty. I also treat and support children and adults at my private practice in Liverpool Street (London).
