I am the lead counsellor at northernlightscounselling which is based in Derwentside in County Durham UK. Originally I trained as a nurse and I have worked in various roles within the NHS over the last 25 years.
I initially qualified as a therapist in 1993 with a counselling qualification and have returned to work in counselling and therapy full time in 2013. I am passionate about my job and I believe that good counselling and therapy can really make a difference in peoples lives.I really enjoy working with my clients and I believe a good counsellor should be able to stand beside you to support and help you through difficult times and challenges.
