Hello and welcome.

I am passionate about what I do as a counsellor and would like the opportunity to work with you. I offer a warm, safe and non-judgemental environment for you to work in.
Talking and opening-up, about painful feelings and life experiences, can add to the fear of seeking out therapy. Understanding how difficult it can be to make this decision I provide you with the opportunity of a free, no obligation, initial telephone consultation, which can be up to 30 minutes, helping you find the support you need.
As a humanistic therapist, I work with a selection of theoretical models helping you find the best fit for you and your counselling needs from session to session. I am direct, empathetic, warm and genuine in my approach and will play an active role in your sessions (I am not the silent type).
I have worked with a range of clients who have accessed counselling for a variety of reasons and provide support for:
Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Low mood, Self-harm, Confidence, Low self-esteem, Bereavement, Change, Relationship issues, Abuse - plus many more.
Please call, text or email to find out more. I look forward to hearing from you.

How I can help.

I understand there can be times in your life when circumstances from the past or present can stop you in your tracks; upsetting thoughts or feelings can be overwhelming but you don’t know why, maybe current life events are causing you distress?
Resolving your issues alone can feel like an impossible task. Whatever your reasons for seeking out counselling I understand this can be one of the hardest decision you will make.
Therapy with myself can be about helping you move through a life stage that you feel stuck in. I can support you to find new coping strategies to manage your current issues in a healthier and positive way. I help you raise your self-awareness, enabling you to understand how and why your issues are causing you distress.
Perhaps there are things you have never shared with anyone before and are aware you can no longer keep these experiences to yourself and need a safe place to share them. Sometimes all you need is to have a space just to sit, be heard and not feel so alone.
Working together, at a pace that suits you, I can help you to work through your negative thoughts and behaviours; understand how these are impacting on your life right now helping you achieve a healthier and happier relationship with yourself and others.
