SORRY I HAVE NO AVAILABILITY
Hello I'm Kim. I am a qualified, accredited, experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor based in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire. I work with Individuals and Couples. I help clients to work through their issues without feeling judged, to talk safely and feel supported, in strictest confidence, offering the opportunity to explore how they truly feel and get to the root of the problem, which is rarely possible with friends or family. I have also worked as a Counsellor at both St Albans Bereavement Matters and at Harmony Mediation as well as in Private Practice.
Clients come to me for help with Anxiety, Relationship problems, Grief, Loss and Bereavement, Separation and Divorce, Stress and Burnout, Depression, Panic Disorder, Anger Management, Low confidence, Low Self Esteem, Abuse, Eating Disorders, Trauma, OCD, Addiction and more. Life can be very difficult at times and often I see clients who have been too strong for too long which has compounded their feelings of anxiety and exhaustion. I also have many years experience in successfully coaching and mentoring clients who feel stuck in their current circumstances.
Talking in a safe space is helpful to explore your problems and understand how you deal with them, re-frame them and look at alternative options for a better outcome, whilst learning new coping skills to help you to deal with future difficult experiences and build your resilience.
The knowledge and self awareness you gain from counselling, as to how you operate in the world, helps you to improve your relationships, reduce anxiety, make better decisions and address problems that may be preventing you from fully engaging in life, helping you to face the future with a sense of optimism.
I offer Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling which means that I can utilise the most relevant approach to achieve the best outcome for you, such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Behavioural, REBT and Pyschosynthesis.
