Through my own life experiences I became very interested in counselling, how it works and the approaches taken by different counsellors. I am trained in a range of methods of counselling and use these within the counselling setting, these methods include, psychodynamic approach, person centred, transactional analysis, gestalt, CBT and hypnotherapy.
I am trained in mindfulness and I believe this to be a very effective tool for those suffering with anxiety, stress and depression, and it is known to be very useful in preventing recurring depressive episodes and can help those that suffer with addiction issues.
