Ruth has 30 years of working with children both in Education as a TA and Primary school teacher. She has been a children's counsellor since 2011 when she qualified through IATE(Institute of Arts in therapy and Education). In 2014 she passed with distinction her studies as a Psychotherapist specialising in children and Adolescents. All of this has involved working with Children, Adolescents and more recently Adults with many areas of their life. Her specialist continuing professional development includes grief, ASD & ADHD spectrum disorders, anxiety, anger management, dysmorphia, dyslexia and eating disorders. She does not diagnose any spectrum disorders' but will support families to find the right place to be. She offers a free initial chat to enable families to make their own decisions on the way forward.
