As an accredited, fully qualified practitioner with almost 20 years experience, I offer long or short term Counselling and Psychotherapy for adults, young people and children for issues such as anger management, relationship issues, bereavement, abuse, anxiety, stress and depression. I also provide an employee assistance programme (EAP) for businesses in the area, offering a service supporting workers suffering from stress or other psychological difficulties which can effect attendance and/or performance. I use an integrative approach in my work, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Mindfulness, meaning that I use skills from my varied training to suit the client's need.
I believe that giving a client the oportunity to share and explore issues with someone who is empathic and non-judgemental can be tremendously empowering, having a significant effect on their ability to cope and their self-esteem.
As a qualified Supervisor I offer supervision for other professionals.
I have a comfortable and private therapy room with easy parking available and disability access.
Client confidentiality is respected at all times.
