Key Workers CounsellingMates in Mind

I have been practicing for many years and have experience of working with adults, children and families; counselling a variety of issues including relationship issues, families, anxiety, generalised stress and work related stress, low confidence, loss, bullying and life changing illnesses. I adapt and adjust my sessions to ensure you as a client get what you want and need from each counselling session. I will work with you to explore and understand your fears and distress, encouraging you to move forward at your own pace. Working at your preferred speed you will not be forced to work on something that you are not comfortable discussing.
As a counsellor, I provide compassionate, challenging and insightful support throughout your journey. I believe that with the right tools, empathic support and personal determination you can live your life to the fullest.

The bases of my training is Person Centered and CBT. I wanted to give my practise more of a variation, so I went onto complete a BSc in Integrative counselling. I found that this gave many more avenues in which I could travel with a client.
I have further trained as a EMDR psychotherapist. This training works extremely well with all mental health conditions. I have focused my experience on working with C/PTSD.
