My approach to therapy is always empathetic and respectful. I believe it is vital to provide a safe, confidential, non-judgmental and comfortable environment where you can come to discuss your problems and issues and in turn make your life happier.

I offer an integrated person centred and CBT approach to counselling. My methods also incorporate a holistic and calm style involving breathing, relaxation, meditation, mindfulness and encouraging emotional resilience.

Life throws us many challenges and rather than rejecting them, ignoring them or burying them, it may be better if we face them with positivity and strength to expand our learning experience. Often, we can feel stuck, talking to a trained professional can help to explore those very issues that grind us down.

I am fully qualified and accredited by The National Counselling Society. In addition to being a fully qualified psychotherapist I am also a qualified hypnotherapist. The skills and experience that I have gained through my training and work over these years have enabled me to help others overcome problems related to depression, stress, anxiety, grief, bereavement, loss, anger, self confidence, family and relationship issues to name a few.

Additionally, I work with two different well established organisations, one specialising in helping women who suffer from domestic abuse, violence and rape and the other dedicated to helping those experiencing bereavement, loss and grief. Both organisations have enabled me to gain invaluable experience in some of the most traumatic issues faced by clients.

I pride myself in being a friendly, calm, genuine and trusting therapist who works with with all ages, genders and sexualities from all cultural, religious, ethnic and social backgrounds.

Anxiety and stress can often arise due to the issues that are brought to counselling. The techniques I use can help you tackle and alleviate these symptoms of anxious feelings, in order to focus on your presenting issues.

Kind Mind will help develop your ability to accept yourself, explore your emotions and learn strategies to reduce your stress and anxiety.
