Mates in Mind

I am very easy to talk to and have had many life experiences which I can use to empathise with you. I am a very open-minded, practical woman and have spent a lifetime helping others. My background is in the law, having working for international law firms in London and Essex for 20 years. I am also a local businesswoman and have lived in Essex for the last 35 years.

I am qualified in psychotherapeutic counselling and hypnotherapy. I use an integrative approach to counselling, which means that rather than using one specified type of counselling ie person-centred counselling, etc, I like to use different types of therapies to help the client with their individual needs and as they progress through their sessions.

At the start of the pandemic, I offered my services as a volunteer mental health practitioner to Project 5; an organisation specifically set up to offer mental health support to NHS workers and those working in care homes.

I can offer daytime, evening or weekend appointments.
