With a passion for enlightening others, my motivation is;
‘To create a safe space where heart's can open, thoughts can be heard and creative expression is encouraged.’
CALM with Carole therapeutic sessions ensure a holistic approach where communication, affirmation, laughter and mindfulness are key.
Communication
Passionate in helping others to understand their feelings and effectively communicate their emotions, I tailor each session to the individual’s essential style of communication and enthusiastically encourage my clients to openly communicate using their preferred communication method; whether this include the use of drawings, visual aids or even paper origami shapes!
*I also assist in developing communication skills through therapeutic communication workshops such as LEGO based therapy. Please enquire for more information.
Affirmation
Creating a safe haven where each individual feels valued and comfortable to be themselves is central in my efforts to open communication. Allowing someone the time to be honest and true to who they are enables them to understand their thoughts and actions, identify their many roles in life and affirm their place in the world. In addition it helps to identify areas where healing and growth may be required.
Affirmation of importance and worth is key in my passion for promoting self love, positive change and self acceptance.
Laughter
The language of the world, laughter creates a sense of relaxation. To have fun is to create a positive experience that is valued and remembered. Fun based activities are brought into each session to ensure a positive impact where individuals leave feeling hopeful, carefree and happy.
Mindfulness
Navigating through life calmly can be difficult and recognition of the power within us is key in developing coping mechanisms for all of our worries, no matter how big or small. I aim to assist in bridging the gap between my client's stressors and their inner ability to manage them by investing the time in helping others to harness the power of mindfulness.
“The ability to give someone the compassion and care they need to feel valued, worthy and loved is an amazing concept. To believe that my investing in them for a small period of time actually provides such significance to their lives is amazing. To be able to assist in their understanding and acceptance of themselves and to promote growth is a blessing and I find it so exciting to think that the positivity I hope I bring strengthens them as they write the story of their lives.”
