Therapy is helpful for most of the situations and feelings that we humans might experience and my main interest is in you as a person, whatever you would like to use therapy for. That said, I do have a special interest and further training with people experiencing problems with - or after – pregnancy and worked for years as part of an NHS perinatal mental health team.
Another area of interest and extra training is in ‘climate psychology’, covering what must surely be some of the most difficult thoughts and feelings that mankind has ever had to deal with. I am a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance and volunteer with a support network for people who are active in this sphere.
I also have further training and experience in grief counselling and spent a year as a volunteer counsellor in a local hospice.
However as I said, my main interest is in you as a person; you and the journey of discovery that we go on together.
Your main concern is probably to see what I’m like and whether you feel comfortable with me so if you would like an initial free (and commitment-free) confidential chat, look me up; I will look forward to meeting you.
