I'm an independent, integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist with my own practice. I also work as a counsellor and supervisor with staff and students in local organisations, schools and colleges as well as in private practice. I am a bereavement specialist and trainer. My core approach is Person Centred although other types of counselling are also employed at times to suit the needs of my clients. I specialise in grief support (of all types) and run a Grief Café and a grief workshops for men.
Whatever your issue, talking about it may help. My counselling style supports clients to understand the way they feel, and recognise new ways of coping with their general well being or solutions to their issues. As a counsellor I allow my clients the opportunity to talk through issues, in a safe, non-judgemental space, where they decide what changes work for them.
I work with adults and young people on a one to one basis and couples. I deal with people whose issues are wide and varied from anxiety and stress to grief and bereavement. Sessions are usually booked on a weekly or fortnightly basis to begin with but are ultimately arranged at the clients discretion.
I am available to see clients from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm Mon to Friday. Sessions take place at my office in Bilston, unless a ground floor room is requested.
I have developed and delivered NCFE and BTEC Counselling courses from level 1 to degree level and also offer CPD and training opportunities for counsellors and organisations.
