For many of us, life has not been the same recently. We all, in varying degrees, have been affected by the pandemic and life with the restrictions of lockdown. As a result, some of us may have been experiencing anxiety, a disorientation and even concerns about our overall mental well-being. Some also may have felt the negative impact on family relationships, be that with partners or children, while some may have struggled with jobs and finances, or simply become anxious about the future generally.

Counselling will offer you a safe space to talk about your issues, a space in which your therapist will provide you with unconditional regard and a confidential, non-judgemental approach to discuss whatever aspects of your life you feel need help in bringing out. As a fully qualified counsellor and hypnotherapist, I am here to support you in your journey to explore and understand how past experiences, current behaviours and uncertainties about life prevent you from feeling happy and achieving the goals which may be eluding you at the moment.

Counselling helps when you feel lost, confused and misunderstood. Talking to friends can sometimes be confusing as they are likely to be biased. A therapist, on the other hand, is equipped with the tools and techniques to guide you through the process of change. This is both necessary and beneficial.

Currently I am offering online counselling sessions until the government guidance on social distancing is changed.
