Thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Alison and I am an Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor. I have experience of working with clients living with anxiety, stress, depression, low confidence and self-esteem, relationship issues, bereavement and other life crises.
Emotional Therapeutic Counselling is a person centred and interactive approach to helping you to achieve a wholeness of mind, body and soul. A key aspect of Emotional Therapeutic Counselling is the range of techniques and creative tools that can be used to assist you to both recognise and release painful feelings in an appropriate manner, by working with your emotions.
The therapeutic counselling goes at your pace and the number of sessions will vary according to your needs. I can offer you a safe, calm and non-judgemental environment to explore the difficulties you are facing in your life.
I have significant experience of working with organisations on a short term, focused basis.
My previous role within the public sector has given me extensive experience of dealing with all sorts of traumatic events. It is through this experience I am able to help those who have suffered as a result of physical or mental trauma. I chose to train as an Emotional Therapeutic Counsellor because I strongly believe in the importance of emotional health. This holistic, integrative approach is a gentle path to finding the real You.
