How I work
I provide a non-judgemental, empathetic and understanding approach to counselling where clients feel comfortable to express their issues in a safe and caring environment. I provide the opportunity for clients to feel free to be themselves, being both heard and listened to. Clients can confidentially share their issues and difficulties. I will work with you to help gain the awareness and understanding about unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviours to bring about the change you are seeking.
What happens in the first session?
Before we meet we will talk on the phone having brief conversation about what is troubling you and organise a convenient for us to meet. At the first session, we will fill in forms providing contact information, GP details etc, and complete a therapy contract. For hypnotherapy there are additional forms to complete to help tailor your bespoke therapy. Everything we discuss will be in complete confidence and at a pace that suits you.
How I can help you
With experience of working in a professional, confidential environment, my volunteer work within a Bereavement Counselling Charity and my experience of life altering situations, I will work with you emphatically whether it be on relationship breakdown, depression and anxiety, self esteem and confidence issues or bereavement and loss. I understand the impact these internal and external anguish which can interfere with our mental health and physical well being.
