Hello,
My name is Mick. As an experienced counsellor I provide emotional support, working with clients to find peace strength and fulfillment in their lives.

People tell me I am a good listener and have a calm and reassuring voice. Would YOU like to feel properly listened to, in a caring and genuine way, without the sense of being judged ?

I began training when my children had grown up and after twenty five years spent restoring & remodelling old buildings. My interests include: people, the planet and everything artistic. Recently I have experienced positive catharsis through writing songs, playing in a band and participating in a local drama group.

Do you dream of realizing an unfulfilled ambition ? Would you like to be having more fun ?

I support people in identifying & exploring feelings and emotional needs, releasing blocked energy, developing personal power, self compassion and autonomy. Examples of recent client-centered projects include :

Finding the courage to deal with `mother` issues
Exploring and appreciating relationships in a healthier way
Role-play rehearsal for a job interview
Daring to learn new skills
Beginning and completing an autobiography
Getting started playing an instrument
Joining a dance group
Training for an exciting new career
Building a house
And.. much much more !

Feel free to call me or text on 07583 108487 or email, if you prefer to : mickavis@live.co.uk

As a professionally qualified practitioner, I offer you acceptance, confidentiality and unconditional positive regard at all times.
