I know how daunting and anxiety provoking the prospect of starting therapy can be. By finding yourself here you have recognised that there may be areas in your life you would like to address. Recognising this is the biggest step of the therapeutic process.
I am an integrative therapist believing that one style of therapy does not suit everyone; we all need different things at different points in our lives depending on our situation and struggles. Therapy is about finding a way to express yourself and communicate feelings; I understand that for some finding the right words can be difficult, and therefore sometimes I will use art to help the person communicate their feelings. Therapy is a serious process though I believe at appropriate times there can be space for fun and gentle humour.
I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of issues and diagnoses including: abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, relationship or work problems, bipolar and personality disorders.
Everyone deserves to be heard. I seek to support and work collaboratively to enable you to develop a better awareness of yourself and your relationships with others.
Whatever your reason for deciding to commit to therapy I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore issues and experiences that are important or difficult. By sharing experiences, voicing feelings and working with me, I work to help you through both the difficult and “eureka” moments of therapy to empower you to make positive changes to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
I offer both short and longterm therapy from my central London consulting room and online.
I am a member of NCS and BACP, providing therapy in line with their ethical guidelines.
