Hello and welcome to my profile. You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, you may have hit a difficult phase in your life because of a past trauma, or maybe you would just like someone to talk to. At some point in our lives, we all struggle with our feelings, which can be especially difficult to cope with or even to understand. I offer a private, comfortable and relaxed space where you can have a regular time and safe place to talk through your challenges and learn new ways of coping, which can enable you to work through the feelings that are troubling you.
The aim of counselling is to provide you with a confidential opportunity to explore personal issues in a safe environment. You will be able to talk about yourself and any concerns you have in a way that cannot be achieved with friends and family. My role is to listen, support and help you understand your feelings better.
I offer a genuine, warm, empathetic, safe and confidential space and I understand how difficult it can be to make that first contact in asking for help. I aim to make this process as comfortable for you as possible and I offer an initial consultation session when you can experience my way of working and ask any questions about the counselling process.
