Currently I do voluntary work counselling for a small local charity, The Magdalene Project, which specialises in offering counselling to people affected by trauma ‘crossing all boundaries.’
I have significant experience of and training in working with trauma and all types of abuse, and the difficulties that it causes.
I also have long term experience of working with Autism, and am happy to work with clients who believe that they are on the spectrum, with or without diagnosis, or with a parent / career in need of support in coming to terms with the diagnosis of a loved one. I am also able to offer counselling to young people aged 16-18 who are on the spectrum and in need of support.
I am happy to work on a long or short time basis on these and many other counselling requests as noted in the ‘I can help with’ section of my profile.

• Qualifications & Experience

  Bachelor of Arts (hons).
  Post Graduate Certificate of Education.
  Aim Awards level 3 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling skills.
  Aim awards level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory.
  NCS Accredited advanced level 4 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
