I offer both counselling and hypnotherapy and these often dovetail together to help you move forward and allow you work out the next step you want to take.
I can provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore issues/problems that are causing you to feel deeply unhappy, frustrated and/or stuck in a rut. I offer face-to-face, online and telephone support as well as the opportunity to ‘walk and talk’ as options. For lots of people starting a conversation and being able to explain how you are feeling is tough. I believe that a lot of these barriers will be overcome if you are walking side by side with me, in an outside environment.
How counselling can help
So often life can feel overwhelming and it is often so difficult to share how you are really feeling with family and/or friends. Counselling offers you the opportunity to be able to be totally honest and to have some time just for you away from the pressures of daily life. It will also enable you to think through why you are feeling a certain way and how you can improve your life and make positive changes. I will be there to provide confidential space and the right amount of support to help you gain a wider understanding of your difficulties so that you can take steps to move forward more positively.
What to expect in your first session
To ensure you feel safe, comfortable and fully informed, I provide a free, 30 minute initial consultation, where we can meet and have an opportunity to get to gain insight on what your issues may be. You will also have the opportunity to find out about the type of therapy I am able to offer and how we might be able to work together.
